Tactical Dog Harness Vest with Handle

Love the products, this isn't my first order, unfortunately I cannot yet give a review of the harness itself, as it just arrived today. Yes, shipping was a bore to wait on. Give the dog and I a week to see how it fits and works for us and we will be happy to let you know.

I don't write reviews but I have to for this. It's absolutely perfect for my smaller size German Shepherd (55 lb). Every other harness we've had we could never quite get a good fit, even after several very frustrating adjustments. But this.... this was almost a perfect fit right out of the box. A few easy minor adjustments and we're ready to go.

This harness works great. A Medium fits my 55lbs dog.It does loosen while he walks so I had to sew the straps in place to avoid it needing constant adjustments on walks around the block, so beware of that.

He can slip out of any collar. This is a pretty good dog harness. If your dog is a Houdini escape artist, make sure you adjust it for a tight fit. The first time we used it, I left it a little bit loose and he was able to slip out of it by pulling away backwards. The next time we tried it adjusted tighter. This does seem to work better for him than any other harness we have tried. But don't try to pull against this harness when the dog is trying to back away from you. Once you learn how to use it working with your dog Houdini, it will serve as a good harness. You need to learn what to watch out for, that's all.

Ordered and it was just what I was looking for. My dog is 70lbs I got the large and it has to be fully tightened for it to fit properly, but he is 8 months old, so he has plenty of room to grow into it. He was pulling a lot on his old harness and figured I would give it a try. He barely pulls now with it clipped to the belly clip.

This harness has helped with training my dogs to not pull on walks. However, the medium harness for my smaller dog will not stay to the fit that I designate. The sides constantly have to be fixed so it will sit on my dog correctly. And the chest area has to be put back together every night. Even then, it's not a guarantee that it won't stop flapping halfway our walk. The large harness for my other dog only slips on the sides and needs to be adjusted every other week or so due to pulling. The medium does not pull, yet we have constant issues keeping the harness together.

Love this harness! It is adjustable around and under chest as well as around legs. 10/10 product! It’s lightweight yet very sturdy, even for large dogs. The clasps are fantastic for easy removal for multiple angles. Item is very well manufactured with real life dog owners in mind. The handle on the back of the harness is great for any given situation and clasp for leash is super thick and metal. My dog was previously abused and found that she is not scared of this harness since there’s many ways to attach. She has full reign of motion but is most comfortable for her as she’s learning to walk with a leash. (Penny, Giant Schnauzer, 75lbs)

I like the harness, it’s fairly decent and fits well where I want it too. But in other places it’s a bit lackluster.Ideally wanted a harness that my dog could wear for long periods of time that wouldn’t have straps right in his armpits, as the harness he had was a bit too small.This one has a great range of adjustability but it never stays where it’s adjusted after a while it wiggles itself loose and becomes sloppy. When it’s sloppy it sorta rides up his neck and looks ridiculous. I will probably have to figure out a way to keep the straps in place somehow that adds just enough friction to prevent this.As it stands though I like the buckles and that it has quite a bit of weight to it. I feel the design of it is a bit off. I’d prefer the handle to be in a different spot as it impedes the leash hook.TLDRThe straps for sure are too slippery and need readjusted often.Overall it does its job but isn’t perfect.
